DD2 is 17 weeks, breast fed, and up till now we've co slept, but she feeds all night and im exhausted - in the evenings shes awake or feeding, and she wont go down for naps any where but on me - how can I change this?

I'd like to be able to do sme work in the evenings when DD1 is in bed, and I cant as DD2 is awake!!

Plus it would be lovely to be able to curl up with DP xx

Hi, Please don't despair it will get better. I am now a proud mother of a 7 month old who tonight has taken an age to get to sleep but will sleep until 6. Believe me I never thought this day would come. DS bf every 2 hours for 3 months, cried himself to sleep for an hour I felt exactly like you, others told me that their children slept through but I began not to believe them! After 3 months started formula, because I was so exhausted it wasn't a miracle cure but did settle him for a little while longer. I also introduced a soother as he was a sucky baby but only when he started teething, it helped him settle. He power naps still during the day, he is in his own room from 5 months and is a very happy contented baby.
You are doing great enjoy the good times - they will get you through the rough! (smile)
