My mum had 3 kids and says she was always cooking. Theres no mention of tempers or sulks or sleepness nights or anything Has she forgot or were we all little angels back then? or
Do we look into things too much now?

i was one of three girls - that was pretty bad according to my dad!

Seriously I questioned everything/everyone and I desperately wanted to shock my parents

My parents now say I was no trouble at all but when I was little, I was a dreadful sulker and when I was a teenager, I didn't talk to my mother for weeks on end (and given that older siblings had left home and my dad worked long hours I think she found that quite oppressive).

None ...i was the perfect child...but it was so easy to be good in our house (all the others were so bad!!) so it was my way of carving my niche in order to be noticed i guess.
Was teenager from hell though...for about 3 years...and then left home.

My parents were unshockable, because they'd had such strict upbringings they were determinedly liberal and let us do what we wanted as teenagers. I took this tolerance all the way.

I used to hitch to pop festivals with my best friend when I was 13.

My mother would say, "Was the concert nice, dear?"
If only she knew what we got up to.

I needed more boundaries.

As a child I was quite stubborn, had an answer for everything and would argue black was white......in fact that sounds exactly like my 5yr old DD.....
OMG - dread whats going to happen when shes a teenager if shes anything like I was(but then again I'll know every trick in the book

Although I was 9lb at birth I wouldn't eat and worried everyone sick - my maternal granny refused to hold me for weeks, thinking I was going to die... then I was diagnosed partially sighted and screamed whenever I was in any sort of light - my mother had to keep me in a darkened room until I was nearly a year old (some say I should still be there)

I was a spoilt child (paternal grandmother's fault), a rebellious, argumentative, sulky horrible teen and I am now fabulous (I am now quoting my mother)

Gosh, I sound delicious don't I???
