how tall is your 3 year old?

Just curious as I get a lot of comments about how tall my DD is. She's 3.2 and 98cm.

I think your right I always think that dd2 is realy short because dd1 was/is tall for her age.

DD is 3.6 and 108 cm.And three and a half stone but bang on for height and weight.Try carrying this tired toddler about! And finding age appropriate clothes(not slash tops or teeny jeans)is a nightmare as shes now in age 7-8!Anyone else done the haggle with the bus driver about the age of your little one? Ps DH is 6ft 6in so I blame him entirely!

I've had to argue to pay for my 7 year old, LOL hes 112 cm, my gorgeous husband is only 5ft 6 and I'm 5ft they were never going to be giants..

Yikes, my DD is tiny! She's 3 in 2 weeks and has just achieved 90cm.....no wonder she still wears 12-18 month jeans!

Admittedly, she was tiny (short and low birth weight) when she was born, but her daddy is tall.......

Oh and meant to say......I don't say my DD is short, I say she's fun sized....

Gah! 3yo dd2 has just gone to bed and I need to measure her now to see how she compares! I've had comments that she's tall and that she's tall so I assume she must be average

tall and small, not tall and tall. That makes no sense

my DD is 3.10 and about 110cm.

she is also constantly being asked if she likes school..she has SN and can't even speak so it all gets a bit embarrassing!

Spent the afternoon trying to get jeans for 108 cm 3.6 yr old DD.Best I can get is age six but they have a button and a zip-she cant do them yet,seems after age five jeans are no longer pull up !!!

After I read and posted on this thread, just before I left for holiday, I decided to measure DS as some rides and stuff goes by height.

When I was 8 weeks pregnant, midwife measured DS (2.6) at 93cm. I was 17 weeks when I measured him and he is now 97cm! I think he has had a bit of a growth spurt!

He is just above the 91st centile line in the red book.

DS was 113cm last time I measured him at age 3 years 9 months (over very top line in red book!)- he looks like a 5 or 6 year old which he thinks is great but sometimes causes him probs when others who don't know his age expect too much of him. Hardly surprising he is tall as his dad is 6,5 and I am 5,8! Looks like my 5 month DS is following the trend as is measuring on the 98th percentile line!

Mt DS is 3 Years and 6 months and he is 97cm - he is so diddy :)

My son is 3.1 and 94cms. I get told he is tall all the time, but reading these posts I am not so sure now!

kaekae - today at toddlers, my son was the smallest and yet he was the oldest! he is 3 and one week and just shy of 94cm. the next oldest after him was a year younger than him I think we have midgets actually

my dd was 4 at the end of August ands she is 100cm. shes by far the smallest in her class at school, and its a nightmare!! shes only in 2-3 trousers and looks much younger than 4. she gets very offended when asked if she likes nursery as shes already done that shes in reception.

my ds is the opposite though very tall and skinny at 6 he is one of the tallest in his class. dd certainly got her short-arse genes from me.
