Are your children’s vaccines up to date?

No.
I'd say a name is only 'Chav' (hate that description) if it is only used by people you would describe as 'Chav'. Likewise, I'd say a name is only 'posh' if it is only used by people that are 'posh'.

Annabel, I would say is a name used by all types of people - posh, and not so posh. So I would describe it as 'classless' or 'multi-class'.

I know one child called Annabel, so I think it is fairly popular, but not overly so.

i live near cheltenham and it's an average name here, so chav,(in popularity, not uncommon but not as popular as isobel)

Love it!

Oh no, not another one of these threads...stop being so daft, insecure and offensive. And call your child what you want to.

proudfoot · 30/07/2010 21:26

IMO it seems a more middle class name although also used by people of all classes.
