When I think of baby names I see what they ryhme with then decide if the worst happened, could my child cope with it?
Maybe that's OTT but still, you know how kids can be.
I personally wouldnt choose any of those names, but then again I wouldnt have chosen my DD's name either but I had little choice, it was already pre chosen if a girl came along. Happy with it though, just wouldnt have thought of it, it's a little common. Same thing if we have a boy, my DP has always knew what he wanted to call it if it's a boy. I dont mind though

...Hmm I went on a bit there :P
By the way, like the name Evie, sounds lovely.

Lily and Anna are gorgeous not keen on Izzy. If I had to pick one out of the three I would choose Lily - so pretty.

For a boy definately Joe, but I'd put Joseph on the birth certificate to give the element of choice when they get older.

Anna is a lovely strong timeless name, really like it.

I like Lily and Joe from your list. Love Joe and wish I had a ds2 so I could use the name.

Kathleen123 · 29/06/2010 10:55

I personally think Anna is too strong to go with Evie, which is in my opinion a cute name.

Maia, Rosie, Cerys, Emma, Ruby, Iris.

Evie and Iris are cute together.

waitingforbedtime · 29/06/2010 10:57

Anna is nice but if I had to choose any name to go with Evie it would be Faith. For a boy it would be Elijah.

FranSanDisco · 29/06/2010 10:59

I thought OP wanted us to choose from her list?

Hedwig3 · 29/06/2010 11:13

Evie and Anna sound lovely.

George2010 · 29/06/2010 11:30

Evie and Anna...I agree
Evie and Joe...very nice!

KAEKAE · 29/06/2010 12:19

I like all your girl names but Lily is so popular - I think I would go for Anna. I like Jude for a boy.

saslou · 29/06/2010 14:14

I don't think that names have to go together if they are for different children, rather than a first and middle name for one child. I think your choices are lovely with the exception of izzy, which I feel is more of a nn. I think you should choose the name you really love rather than maybe settle for one because you think it goes with your daughters name

Traintastic · 29/06/2010 14:39

Anna is beautiful.

Love Joe for a boy.

PaulineCampbellJones · 29/06/2010 14:55

Love Anna and Joe/Joseph too.

thislittlesisterlola · 29/06/2010 20:26

I know an Evie with a brother called Joe. And another with a brother called Owen.

sophieandbelly · 06/07/2010 08:08

think ur right about izzy sounding like a nn, i would have isobella on birth cert.

iam thinking anna or lily (lily my fav)

and joe for a boy, but def not joseph really dislike that.
