Friend loves name Perdy for her baby girl but for some bizarre reason wants it to be elongated and have Perdy as shortened version!

Any thoughts or suggestions!!!???

Perdy on its own is lovely.

Jeperdy?

I like it as a name in it's own right but prefer Purdy as a spelling

Perdy is a lovely name, but I thought it was a boys name.

Penelope at a push

Maybe have Perdy/Perdita as a middle name

Or just use nn Perdy whatever, nn don't have to relate to first name. My Gran was known as Bintie (really) by her family, but her name was Mary
