new inspiration for boys

DS is Ethan Christopher, our back up boys names were Nate and Jake but not keen on either now. Girls names we like are Scarlet, Xanthe, Kate and River.

Surname one syllable beginning with L - if we could have them, Luca and Mylo would be on the list but both sound ridiculous with our surname!

Any inspirational ideas for other boys' names as good as our first?! We can't agree on any, except possibly Sebastian

'river arthur' sounds like a destination for a day trip of pensioners

With a short surname, I'd go for 2 syllable first name that won't necessarily be shortened. How about:

Oscar
Quentin
Tristan
Hugo

Justin
Laurence
Lewis
Francis
Marcus

I like Tristan and Aidan and agree with trying not shorten a name (hence Ethan)

Oscar and Rufus I love but have been poo pooed by DH

thanks for suggestions, keep em coming!
