I have an Ava :-) Her mn is Christine, after my Mum who died when I was pregnant with her. I would never have considered it had it not been for this, but I have come to really like it now, and think it goes really nicely with Ava :-)

Before Mum died the mns we were considering were Grace, Caroline and Elisabeth.

It's a great name, I love it. Much more popular than I had anticipated (my Ava is nearly 7 and I didn't know of any others when she was born), but popularity just means lots of people like it imo, which is no bad thing :-) My son has a really unusual name, which presents its own problems.
