Can I use Cassius if I already have a Titus?

Sorry another Cassius thread. I love this name, but think it might be a bit too much seeing as we already have a Titus. Other 2 dc's names are not similar at all.

What do you think?

I do love both Cassius and Titus, but people may think you have a bit of a roman obsession. Have you studied Classics, or is it just coincidence that you like them both? Are the other 2 dcs between them, to break up the effect a bit, or will they be next to each other? I do think they are both great names though.

Could you try Cassian to at least differentiate the ending? I like both names actually.

Not a classical scholar, only a wee bit of Latin and Roman history before I dropped out of uni So just a coincidence.

Titus is the oldest and will be 11 years older than this baby so it does seperate them a bit.

Difficult one ( great taste btw!)

Personally I wouldn't....Cassian is different enough though - go on spill what the other two are!

If it's the Classics you like, I just met a really nice man called Hector, and he loves his name!

coffeefestival · 14/06/2010 20:55

I think they're both great names and go very well together. They're not too similar as it's only the "us" ending that's the same.

Yes you can. Definitely. What you can't have is a Harry, or a William, or a Jack. But a Titus? yes.

Magalyxyz · 16/06/2010 22:16

Oh sorry, Titus is the one you already have. Same principle applies though.

What about Marcelius and Aurelius? I love those too. I love Roman names.

Magalyxyz · 16/06/2010 22:16

or even, just plain Marius if you wanted to tone it down half a notch.
