Middle names that tend to go with most 1st names

Im not too fussed on middle name- it doesnt need to be a family name etc, so are there are any middle names which seem to fit nicely with most first names?

An example being Rose or May.

we went with jane - it's my middle name...

am not sure at all why we did it as i always wished i'd had a more excitng middle name.

with hindisght, i think it's a great opportunity to pick something really unusual/striking.

i would have gone for mabel if i had my time again (and if dh had not been involved int he decision!)
