I would sag Augustine is the girl's version; August or Augustus for a buy.

Jonathon is always a lovely name.

Horton · 03/06/2010 11:42

Helen is nice.

bigbluebump · 03/06/2010 12:16

Augustine = female
Augustin = male

I like it, but prefer (in fact love) Augustus.
Don't like Johnny at all.

Roanna and Zuleika are lovely girls's names.

Thanks, I actually like Helen for a girl lots but concerns are it's either a bit much to live up to (Helen of Troy) or a bit dull on the other hand?

Not really my tastes, but Jonathon is always a nice name for boys.

mathanxiety · 03/06/2010 16:15

I like them all -- I think I prefer Helena to Helen. Sorry, no help.

Horton · 03/06/2010 17:35

I don't think Helen will be seen as at all dull. There must be very few baby Helens these days so she might seem rather exotic.

minipie · 03/06/2010 17:51

How about Rowena or Helena?

Augustin or Jonathan both nice.

Shaz10 · 03/06/2010 18:02

I like Helen and Jonathan.

CallMeMissTweedy · 03/06/2010 18:07

Love Zuleika. Not the others.

Roanna sounds made up. Rosanna is lovely.

Augustine can be male, in fact I would assume it was. As in St Augustine.

Like both Augustine and Johnny, in fact Augustine is one of my fantasy boy's middle names, not brave enough to have it as a first name (although it has been the first name of lots of my (male) ancestors.)
