I like both these boy's names.

What do people think? Are either of them more popular than the other?

Thanks everybody. I have kind of decided in my head I prefer Evan....I don't think it is too popular in Australia and to be honest, I have given up worrying whether names are too popular or not because all the ones I like are inevitably popular.

Now I just have to wait 3 weeks to find out the sex and can then lock in the name!

edam my DH is called Dylan. So many people call him "Dillon" which really annoys him.

edam · 03/06/2010 10:39

You can't blame people for saying 'Dillon' because it's become the normal pronunciation but it is bloody irritating that no-one knows better.

great choice emmy!

ooh yes, good choice! ds is Evan so obviously I'm biased but it is a lovely name. He likes being called Ifanbach occasionally too.

DS aged 11 has one of each as a mate!! Both are from welsh families I like both names because both of those boys are fab!!

Thanks edam and glittery...I have this feeling that's if it's a boy it will be Evan. I am loving it more and more.

I like Evan better than Owen. I had Evangeline on my girls shortlist and wanted to shorten that to Evan, but DH didn't agree.
