My exDH has a friend called Araminta (known to all as Minti) and she is lovely. Not at all posh and pony club. I am in the minority as I like it.

it's awful imo. LIke a parody of a posh name. eg, Ptolemy and Araminta. you would think it was a harry enfield sketch. don't do it.
