Naomi, Megan, Ewan...opinions please!

My DH and I seem to have no problems in finding girl's names we love. At the mo I love Naomi and he wants Megan or Amelie.

We're despairing with boy's names. At the mo the only one we can agree on is Ewan but I keep having second thoughts about that. We want something that isn't too run of the mill but isn't out there either. Any ideas/opinions welcomed!!!!

Not fond of Ewan. How about Edmund? Or Rowan?

I do like Amelie and that was one of my choices until my best friend stole it . But it has got very popular recently

I called my daugther Tallulah and still love it. Very polarising though. She is a very gorgeous Tallulah though!!!!!

My sister called her daughter Biba - which I love as well

Naomi lovely and not much used these days. Loads of Amelies round here. Prefer Meg to Megan (not sure why).

I liked Ewan with my first, but got DD, then went off it by the time DS arrived. With no. 3 I quite like Rory. Boys names are tough, eh?

I think Naomi is a lovely name. Amelie and Megan are both pretty popular. What about Regan or Tegan?

Ewan is nice, or Fergus? Unusual but not out there?

When did Amelie come into this? I thought we were choosing between Megan and Naomi.

I like both names but prefer Naomi.

Oops, sorry, just read the OP and realise she added it in after the title. Well, I think it's a bit popular and if you're not French I think Amelia is better.

I adore Naomi but there is sometimes confusion about how to pronounce it (2 slightly different ways). I like Megan too but find Amelie pretty but overused and prefer Emily.

Ewan is great - simple but unusual.

Rowan for a boy?

I love Naomi, dislike Megan and I think Amelie is very popular, and a little on the frilly side.
