Awful. I don't think either sound nice with Charlie and Harry tbh which are lovely names.

I agree with others that Monty sounds nicer with your other two but I love Raphael as Raffa or Raffy or even Raphe (sp?) like the gorgeous actor.

We're not sharing our preferred names with anyone in RL, just in case they react like your mum did (and I know my Dad would veto every one of them) - once the baby is born and named, they'll just have to be polite about it - ha!

Don't like either, tbh. If Monty develops naturally as a nn it's okay, but otherwise I just think it's trying too hard to be different.

Raphael. I really dislike Monty.
Gabriel would be nice too.

What else 'goes' with Charlie and Harry ?

william, jack, Sam, edward....
they are all good solid (and unfortunately popular) names

Monty can be short for Montague as well - I know a Monty who's full name is Montague.
