What do you think? it started as a joke but now is a serious possibility...too old fashioned?

Love it. I'm in France and there is a Hector in my DC's class. Although it gets pronouced 'ector.

There are lots of names in DC's class that would be considered 'out there' by people on this thread but once you know the child the name grows on you and it no longer seems that unusual or outrageous.

Hector is a horrible name. You also have to think of it's meaning as a verb.

It's not a good choice.

Hector is the most fantastic name. Go for it! My DS would have had it, only my mum had already given it to her dog.
