Meredith, Kirsten, Thea - love them or loathe them?

Meredith, Kirsten, Thea - love them or loathe them? I have 3 weeks to go (probably) and DH and I can't agree. This is the closest we have to a short list although even then we are not completely agreed, so thought I would try them out on MN for opinions. Am prepared for the worst..!

Love Kirtsten and Thea...Meredith sounds a bit harsh and people will wonder where the accent lies.....ok though if you like the Welsh connection

Thea is the one I like best.

The other two remind me of American Teen dramas I'm afraid.

Love Thea, quite like Meredith but don't think I would actually use it, not keen on Kirsten, think it's a bit 80's.

I don't think Kirsten is harsh, or 80's, it's a particular favourite name of mine in fact.

Thea is nice. Really not mad on the other two. Meredith sounds very American soap opera-ish.

Kirsten-agree with comments above..sounds harsh.Also reminds me of Kirsten Dunst who is annoying.

Hmm. Thanks for feedback. Are there lots of Thea's out there? Is it rising in popularity (how can you find this sort of thing out?). Not sure is she would end up being the 6th Thea in her class (I have very common name and tbh would prefer not to).

Yes..my kirsten is ALWAYS getting called Kirsty, drives us mad.

I like Meredith. Thea's lovely, but I also think it's likely to be a very popular one.
