Duar. Pronounced Dew-ar. Sounds lovely in the scottish accent.

Another vote for Murdo - just love it and you can't go wrong with a name that means Sea Warrior .....

I have a Struan.

He is Scottish and we are in teh Western Highlands and most will say it as 'Strewn'/Strooen but with a rolled 'r'.

My BIL is a Moray. But it's not pronounced 'Moh-ray' here.

So is Moray pronounced Murray then.
Elgin definately regarded as a place name where I'm from.
I liked Calvin and Arran but dh is not so keen. Keir is nice too.
Getting the feeling our names are not too popular as no one is mentioning them.

I think its not so much that your names aren't popular as they don't actually come across as all that Scottish.

My boy is "Arran" like the Scottish island, so thats a favourite of mine! Finn (or with the gaelic spelling - phoenn, or some such?)

I love Angus, DH loves Angus only trouble is, my cat is called Angus
