Got some great ideas from my last posting...thanks everyone!
Here's my attempt at a shortlist:
Elizabeth Harriet (Beth)
Katherine Harriet (Kate)
Fleur Harriet
Anya Harriet
Martha Harriet
Ellen Harriet
Emma Harriet
Lydia Harriet
Megan Harriet
Anna Harriet
Surname is 2 syllables and sounds a bit like Warmsea!

Any loves...hates...alternatives please?

Ellen Harriet is my favourite on that list, somehow the two names seem to go together really well and would go well with your surname too I think.

Really don't think that Megan or Anya go well with Harriet.

padraig · 23/04/2010 22:45

Elizabeth Harriet (Beth) - meh (dislike Beth as mn)
Katherine Harriet (Kate) - have always been fond of Katherine
Fleur Harriet - I want to like it, but I don't
Anya Harriet - LOVE this name.
Martha Harriet - Nooooooooo
Ellen Harriet - Like it.
Emma Harriet - Emma is SO common though
Lydia Harriet - Sort of like it
Megan Harriet - Nooooo. Also very common these days.
Anna Harriet - meeeeeeeeh. Overall I dislike.

So my personal preference therefore is:

Anya
Katherine
Ellen

No so fond of the rest.

My favourites are Elizabeth, Katherine, Martha and Anna. I also love Harriet - could it be a first name?

madamefreckle · 23/04/2010 23:07

Elizabeth Harriet (Beth) - Lovely
Katherine Harriet (Kate) - Great name
Fleur Harriet - Not at all keen
Anya Harriet - Nice & not too common
Martha Harriet - Like Martha but not with Harriet
Ellen Harriet - Not sure
Emma Harriet - Classic/classy
Lydia Harriet - Not sure
Megan Harriet - Don't like the combination
Anna Harriet - Nice!

Mum2T · 24/04/2010 13:56

Yes, SillyTillyBilly could be Harriet as a first name. Forgot to mention that!
Thoughts on Harriet as well please!

My favourites from your list and where I think the names "flow" best, are

Emma Harriet
Lydia Harriet
Megan Harriet

And if you had Harriet as a first name

Harriet Megan
Harriet Fleur
