Due in 3 weeks, have a son called Robert.
Surname starts with B and is two syllables.

Am thinking.....

Mary Elizabeth

Emma Alexandra

Juliet ...........(still undecided on mn)

Kate Elizabeth

I like them all but favour Mary or Emma.

Doozie · 21/04/2010 19:54

Love all your names.

Can't choose between Kate Elizabeth and Juliet.

Juliet Alexandra
Juliet Alice
Juliet Charlotte
Juliet Elizabeth
Juliet Olivia
Juliet Louisa
Juliet Victoria
Juliet Margaret
Juliet Beatrice
Juliet Clare

Mary Elizabeth is such a beautiful combination I'd be wanting to call her by her full name all the time.

APassionateWoman · 21/04/2010 19:58

Mary

Haliborange · 21/04/2010 20:00

I love Juliet. Fabulous name.

My DD's middle name is Kate, so I think that too is very pretty.

Haliborange · 21/04/2010 20:01

Oooh, what about Juliet Emma? Pretty, classic and you get to use 2 of your names!

chinook · 21/04/2010 20:22

Emma.

But I may be slightly biased....

Seriously though I chose it for dd (aged 4) and haven't regretted it for a second. Plus I haven't come across another one in her age group.

LynetteScavo · 21/04/2010 20:23

Juliet

MrsJohnDeere · 21/04/2010 20:32

Emma or Kate.

pitterpatterfeet · 21/04/2010 20:33

Mary Elizabeth is beautiful and really classy

MrsStig · 21/04/2010 20:48

Mary Elizabeth owns a big red dog called Cliford.

jellybeans · 21/04/2010 21:02

Mary Elizabeth is lovely.

muminthemiddle · 21/04/2010 22:49

All lovely names.

Mary I consider to be a pale blond haired girl's name (no idea why!!)

Kate's and Emma's always seem to be very popular, nice, friendly successful types of peoiple-so a good choice.

Juliet must be due a comeback, simple yet timeless and more sophisticated than Julie.
Juliet I see as a dark haired girl-if this helps!

mathanxiety · 22/04/2010 02:33

Juliet Alexandra or Juliet Mary would be lovely.

itmustbewineoclock · 22/04/2010 03:12

All lovely, especially Mary Elizabeth.

padraig · 22/04/2010 04:18

I have to say I love Juliet as a name, especially spelled Juliet (i.e. not Juliette, which I feel is unnecessary).

LuciaRose · 22/04/2010 10:51

I love Juliet Alexandra - think it works really well. Juliet Elizabeth would be nice too.

Of your other choices, I really like Mary Elizabeth, as it is so traditional and fairly uncommon.

Emma and Kate are both really pretty names, but you do hear them so much.

stargirl24 · 22/04/2010 10:57

I think all of them are lovely; they're simple but brilliant names. My favourite would probably have to be Emma, or Juliet.

0percypig0 · 22/04/2010 11:13

thankyou all for your positive comments!

Such a varied response too.

I do like Juliet Alexandra- but would be worried about the initials JAB

I understand what you mean about Mary Elizabeth sounding nice as one name. Is Mary abit boring just on its own?

Mrs Stig- it's Emily Elizabeth who owns the big red dog Clifford!

I don't know how I'll decide- I'm in the early stages of labour now so will let you know of our final choice!

Emma Alexandra is lovely - I have never understood why Emma is not more popular.

My DD's middle name is Emma and I think it is pretty and classic and Alexandra is gorgeous with it.

Not keen on the others though - bit staid for my taste.

thirtysomething · 26/04/2010 14:11

Can't go wrong with Kate or Emma. And Mary elizabeth beautiful as well. slightly less keen on Juliet as gets shortened too much!

notso · 26/04/2010 14:19

Kate is marvellous

Emma is my second choice, followed by Juliet then Mary.

diddl · 26/04/2010 14:36

Juliet.
Mary v.old fashioned imo

Magaly · 26/04/2010 14:52

Mary Elizabeth- prefer Marianne Elizabeth

Emma Alexandra - nice but ...

Juliet ...........Love Juliet dislike Juliette though.

Kate Elizabeth - ok. prefer Elizabeth Kate

Juliet Emma sounds good or Juliet Mary

Caro1302 · 26/04/2010 21:56

I love all of your names, and my DD has Mary and Kate as middle names. I've always loved Juliet, it's pretty and unusual.

JazzDalek · 27/04/2010 00:06

Love Juliet. If I ever have another girl that's my front-runner, that or Esther.

Mary is also lovely.

Not keen on Emma. Kate is okay, but I'm a Kate and never liked it as a kid!
