Ideas for a 4th girl

Violet5 · 20/04/2010 13:26

Hi, i have three girls, Paige Bethany, Imogen Maria and Summer Eloise.

If the baby we're expecting turns out to be another girl (which i think is very likely) i'm having trouble comming up with more girls names that i like.
Especially as my husband has said a definate no to my favourite names, Miranda and Violet.

So i just thought i'd throw it open and ask if anyone has any suggestions of girls names that kind of go with the ones we've got ?

Have decided on a family name as a middle name, Susanah (i've found thats made finding a first name harder too though i don't mind if the first and second names don't match that well as i rarely call the children by all their names.

Any ideas appreciated

Loved Scarlet when i was having Summer but husband said no

i like Hope, Annaliese and Amber
i do like some of the other suggestions too but as my husband has 3 nieces some of them have been used.

I'm begining to think it's my husband causing the naming problems and not me lol

Your girls' names are lovely

Word of warning as a mum of 3 girls and pregnant with no 4, we had already chosen our 4th girls' name and of course we are now having a boy which we don't have a name for yet.

I think you need to avoid anything ending in -a if you are having Susannah as a middle name

Aww...my baby is scarlett, shame your hubby didn't like it.

Ruby and leila are nice....we also considered Harper for a bit, then stuck to that for a boy instead.

I think you should go for another wordy name so Hope, Faith, Ruby, Amber, Scarlet all good. Try looking up gems, colours, plants, virtues, placenames etc.

sleepingsowell · 04/05/2010 11:10

I think Amber matches your other names best.

vicbar · 04/05/2010 21:44

I think Faith or Poppy match your other names. I have a Poppy so am biased
