Help me find a name for Arthur's little brother!

Have one DS, Arthur, and am expecting a second son in the summer.

DH and I only agree on one name! So I'm looking for names in a similar vein to Arthur, or if not similar something that goes well and has a nice vibe.

One caveat: nothing that ends in an 's' or 'x' sound as it would blend into our surname too much.

Please help!

Well I love Arthur as a name so even though I'm not sure that these are in a similar vein these are other boys names that I like.

Arthur and Peter would go very nicely.

belgo · 18/04/2010 08:53

Arthur and Gilbert would also be nice.

Thanks for the suggestions. I like:
Frank
Edward / Teddy
George (although the vowel sounds are the same as my surname so not sure it really works )
Wilfred
Sidney (DS not keen though, prefers Stanley)
Ernest (this was going to be DS1's name until he was born)

Any others? I'm sure the perfect name is out there, I just have to find it!

Shortlist remains:
Frank
Teddy
George (although the vowel sounds are the same as my surname so not sure it really works )
Wilfred
Stanley
Ernest (this was going to be DS1's name until he was born)
and adding Hector to that list too.

Of this shortlist, which would you choose?
