Decision time on a girl's name.

Hi folks,
Not posted before but am in need of some help with a name for our little one (due in a few weeks)
Ideas include..... Molly, Rose, Olivia, Lily, Emily, Martha, Louisa, Julia and Elizabeth.

Any thoughts or suggestions gratefully received!

Molly, Rose, Olivia, Lilly, Emily very popular.
If i must choose one it will be Elizabeth.

Martha, Julia and Elizabeth are all yummy.

What a refreshing list of names!

Molly - lovely
Rose - pretty
Olivia - lovely
Lily - cute
Emily - beautiful
Martha - the only one on your list that I dislike. It's a really 'hard' name IMO not pretty at all
Louisa - pretty
Julia - gorgeous and the least popular/fashionable of your choices
Elizabeth - my favourite ever girls name!

I would go with either Elizabeth or Julia, but all (other than Martha) are beautiful

Molly- I like, although some think a bit twee.
Rose, is lovely, and hugely underdone as a first name. Of course, it is default middle name for those who don't choose May or Grace, but as a first name it's quite unusual I think.
Olivia- if you want your child to be one of 5 in her class with the same name. Bor-ing.
Lily- very common and unfortunately not in a good way. Invariable with the May/Rose hyphen.
Emily- wet and had its fad about 10 years ago, so it won't be that common now, but there are 8 Emilys in each junior school class.
Martha- s'ok.
Louisa, like this, prefer Louise.
Julia- pretty, well due a comeback
Elizabeth- my favourite from your list.

Rose, Martha, Elizabeth and Julia are my favourites.

The others are ok but lots of them about.

Love Elizabeth, Julia and Louisa, they are all pretty and elegant names. Olivia and Lily are really common now, don't do it! Give her a name that makes her stand out from the crowd good luck with the birth!

I like Rose, Lily and Emily.

Love Louisa - how about Laura?

Molly- Nice although peronally have taught an evil Molly so put me off for life.

Rose- My DD's middle name.. love it.

Olivia-Love it but very popular here and would be one of many at school.

Lily- sweet name.

Emily- Was our first choice for DC2 but again VERY popular here

Martha- Not keen

Louisa- Personally put off by going to school with a horrid Louisa.

Julia and Elizabeth- Both Nice

Working in a school really narrows your choices! Its amazing the power of name associations

Julia as its the one that you wont have loads of othe girls called and its gorgeous

Louisa, Julia, Elizabeth - in that order.
