Jasper and Christian are ok I suppose, bit meh

August is a girl's name

August and Linus are pretty bizarre.

Rufus - the best on your list

Rafael - no, unless you have some cultural connection

Jasper - make me think of Jasper Carrot, also think the name woudl be better on a pet

Christian - find this quite odd - the child might not be a Christian and they would have it as their name anyway.

Not very keen on any of them. Christian is ok if you're believers and will bring him up in the faith. If not, it doesn't make much sense to me (sorry).

Christian - Sounds too religious too me.

christian is my fav then rufus not keen on the others tho

thesecondcoming-August is a name honest- I've met a couple! It's no different to June/ May/ April. Actually, wasn't the month 'August' named after the emperor Augustus rather than the other way around?

Perhaps Christian would be confusing after all we are not 'believers'!

I have a Rufus and Jasper is on our list for number 4.

We also had Ralph (pron. Rafe) but have removed it due to the differing spelling/pronunciation headaches. Linus - makes me think of Peanuts...and Christian - don't like it after one of the boys at my prep school was called this and wasn't very nice....August, no. Augustus/Gus - maybe.

Linus is an excellent name. It would definitely be on my shortlist for a DS2.

I like them all except perhaps Christian.
