Title says it all really, I want to balance up a longish first name and surname with a short middle name but can't think of many, I have rather got stuck with names beginning with B for some reason and DH doesn't like them (Ben, Bay and Blue suggested so far).

Any good ideas?

BessieBoots I am 37 weeks pregnant so due any time really.

DH said last night he wants to consider Wilfred after his grandad which doesn't fit with other names we are considering at all!

Hmm. What's his Grandad's middle name? (If he had one.) That might be more in keeping with what you're after and would also honour him as your DH wishes to do.

Wilf! Yeah, why didn't I think of that? I like Wilf a lot. it makes me look like good too for going along with the family connection

Wilf sounds good with our long surname too.

my grandson is Rex, it means king and is not common

shareastory · 26/03/2010 13:18

Rex, it means king and is unusual at the moment

PeasPlease · 26/03/2010 16:32

There is a dog in our family called Rex, although I agree it is a good name. Actually, if DD had been a boy we wanted to call her Herby and the day before she was born BIL texted to tell us he had bought a dog called Herby. I was livid!
