Ivan is nice and unusual. The only one I can think of recently, unfortunately, is the Cameron's boy who died a year or so back. (It also has associations for some with Ivan the Terrible but I don't suppose most people will think of that.)

I've always loved Charlotte. I prefer Sophia to Sofia though. (And with the So-fee-a pn rather than Sophie-a).

Oliver -- love but very popular

Charlotte -- very nice
Emily -- meh

Sofia -- LOVE

So, Ivan, Michael and Sofia would be my favourites.

Isn't it funny how people think differently about names. These are the reasons I chose them:

Ben - loved it since a child all my teddies were called Ben - something to do with TV programme 'Gentle Ben' maybe?
Ivan - my Grandfathers name.
Michael - my fathers name
Oliver - just like it .

Charlotte - just like it
Emily - my imaginary friends name (when I was a child no longer with me!)
Erin - means daughter of Ireland -I'm Irish and living away from home.
Sofia - always loved Sophia but lived in Sweden for a long time and liked the Swedish spelling.

Still not sure which way to go! Middle name for a boy will be Gary (DH's father who is no longer with us).

Might just have to meet the little creature to decide!
