Girls we have sorted out - Beatrice or Freya

Boys - and I know that these are not to everyone's taste but these are the only ones we can agree on....

Jasper
Piers
Magnus
Felix
Henry/Harry
Monty

We have a Theo(dore) and a Rufus already......

Think they all flow well with your DCs except perhaps Henry/Harry - too safe. (Love it personally, would probably be the only one of yours on my list).

Would probably plump for Piers or Monty to balance out the other 2 best.

Know a Herbie? (Dunno if this is a NN actually and there is a longer name behind it...).

Monty

baskingseals - Angus was also on our list but we felt that was too close to Rufus - Magnus seems less so, although it's still difficult, so we probably won't use it.

I'm surprised that there's such a democratic mix of opinions tbh - I thought Piers would get FAR more type reactions, and that I'd have a few more 'cat and dog' responses to having a Felix and a Rufus!

I do really like Jasper, but DS1 says he hates it - we shouldn't have told him the shortlist should we!!

If we choose Monty, it would be the NN - Montgomery would go on the BC, but we do have a double barrelled surname, so I think that may be a bit OTT.

Thank you for all of your opinions - we still have just over 5 weeks so I'm hoping we'll come to a consensus by then!

Felix, Magnus or Henry. (And I definitely prefer Henry to Harry. You have the option of calling him Harry if you name him Henry, though, since it is technically a nn for Henry.)
