I think it's really pretty but tend to think it's better as a middle name owing to the teasing potential already mentioned. However, if it is on the up, then it's entirely possible that such teasing may not be as rife.
I know an Ophelia: she's my age and very lovely. True, she has a fairly flamboyant character, but I don't see why it couldn't suit a more demure sort either.
