We have an Eva. Is Olivia too similar?

I personally wouldn't due to two via sounds, is there another dc inbetween for example Eva, George and Olivia which would break it up slightly?

MamaG · 20/03/2010 14:22

i think its ok

OhDearYoda · 20/03/2010 14:32

No Dizzy, this will be dc2

they're both lovely and there is no written rule to say that names have to 'go'

I personally just like mine to know which one is getting shouted at on so they all have very different sounds

MamaG · 20/03/2010 14:36

but the dont sound similar! unless eva is pronounced "olivia" where you are from?

MamaG · 20/03/2010 14:37

...and TBH I call my DC by each other's names all the time anyway

Jbck · 20/03/2010 14:37

Think they're lovely together. Our DDs don't have similar sounding names but we've taken to merging them and just shouting it hoping one of them will come when we do.

Amapoleon · 20/03/2010 14:40

I think they are lovely.

They both have the V sound but I don't think they're too close.

Maggie00 · 20/03/2010 19:40

a little bit. I would go for Lydia to avoid having another V sound.
