Aphra is great. Reminds me of Aphra Benn.

How do you pronounce Yieshah and Mwari?

GladioliBuckets · 20/03/2010 11:45

I always think of words that kids might ryme with it at school or what the name might be shortened down to....dont know if that helps at all

I love the name Aphra.

I don't know any of the other names. How are they pronounced? Do they have meaning behind them?

ChippyMinton · 20/03/2010 11:56

I met a little girl called Afria recently, pronounced A (as in apple)-free-a. Lovely.

Kamaria & Terema are lovely. The good thing i think is Mixed race people can tend to get away with the more unuasal name.
