If we have a boy we want to call him Oscar, but are struggling with the middle name. At the moment the frontrunner is Benjamin, but DH is starting to think it's a bit 'wet' or 'vanilla' (his words!)

Ideally we'd need a three-syllable MN as our surname is two syllables. Thought about Cassius, Sebastian and Massimo (we have Italian lineage) but none seem to work that well with Oscar. Any suggestions welcome!

I think if you call a boy Oscar (which is lovely) his middle name needs to be short and strong. I agree - Oscar James or Oscar Rhys would be great.

Oscar Benedict sounds less wet than Oscar Benjamin

or

Oscar Nathaniel
Oscar Zachary
Oscar Raphael
Oscar Leonardo

Please don't call him Oscar!!! My son is Oscar, used to be unusual but now they're everywhere. Choose Cassius or something as a first name if you want him to be the only one with that name in his class!!!
