Edie Clementine, v cute!

differentID · 28/02/2010 19:26

Edie Clementine, as both Margot and Daisy can be pet forms of Margaret.

janeite · 28/02/2010 19:26

I love Edie and Daisy and hate Clementine and Margot - so I'm not much help to you!

ChickenInABasket · 28/02/2010 19:29

Edie Clementine, gorgeous!

Love Margot too - Margot Clementine would be a lovely name. Don't like Daisy at all I'm afraid.

Edie Clementine, I really like it. Don't like Edith as a full name though, but Edie is lovely.

AshleyFanjo · 28/02/2010 19:34

Edie Clementine

GladioliBuckets · 28/02/2010 19:34

Like them both - shame you can't guarantee 2 girls, would be a lovely theme to have plant-y middle names. Prefer Edie short for something else though. Have you heard of Editha? Pronounced EDitha.

lifeas3plus1 · 28/02/2010 19:37

Edie Clementine is really really lovely.

MeAndMyMonkey · 28/02/2010 19:49

All gorgeous names, (one of them is my dd's ) and I would totally have picked them all - what about Marguerite as a Daisy alternative?
On balance i do like Edie Clementine. Cute, cute, cute!

Adair · 28/02/2010 19:50

Edie Clementine is lovely!

dogstar · 28/02/2010 19:56

My choice would be Daisy Clementine.

OH good pedanty point zapostraphe. I once knew someone who had sons Jack and John.

janeite · 28/02/2010 20:18

It's 'tautology' if you want to be a real pedant!

Hassled · 28/02/2010 20:20

I can't see Margot without thinking about The Good Life, and I can't see Clementine without thinking about fruit. Edie and Daisy both really nice.

ronx · 28/02/2010 20:21

I love Edie Clementine

Lilyloo · 28/02/2010 20:22

I like Edie best , not keen on Margot or Clementine though

sophiesmummie · 28/02/2010 21:16

How do you prounounce Edie - Eddie or Eedie?

Maria2007loveshersleep · 28/02/2010 22:18

I think Edie Clementine is lovely.

While I like both Margot & Daisy, I don't think they go well together at all.

houseworkhater · 28/02/2010 22:34

Edie Clementine gets my vote.

BettyButterknife · 01/03/2010 10:34

Thanks for all your comments, looks like Edie Clementine was the clear winner.

All academic now as I had my 20 week scan this morning and it looks like I'm having another boy, so I won't get to use either of these glorious names after all.

Can anyone suggest a boy equivalent to these 'types' of names??

Congratulations BTW - I have two boys and it's great.

Boys names are harder, though .....
