The first two risk being confused with girls by people only seeing thier names written down (I know they're boys names too but they are primarily associated with girls these days)

Has to be Jesse - as long as you live miles away from Scotland!

Kyrie · 28/02/2010 21:40

I know a male Kerry, very nice name. Kelly is more established as a unisex name but is quite samey with Ellis. Jesse is cool too.

I think I'd go for Kerry but all nice.

sophiesmummie · 28/02/2010 22:03

Kerry goes really well with Ellis imo. Nice choice!

Bluebell99 · 28/02/2010 22:06

Jesse. I had never heard of Kerry or Kelly as boy's names, only as girls.

Littlefish · 28/02/2010 22:06

All three are a little too ambiguous for me.

Maria2007loveshersleep · 28/02/2010 22:08

I would definitely rule out Kelly as it doesn't go well with Ellis. Kerry & Kelly, in any case, are girl names, no?

My vote goes to Jesse which is a nice name.

LynetteScavo · 28/02/2010 22:08

Jesse

LynetteScavo · 28/02/2010 22:09

Is this for a boy or a girl?

LynetteScavo · 28/02/2010 22:10

Sorry, should have read the OP properly!

I still like Jesse best.

PureAsTheColdDrivenSnow · 28/02/2010 22:12

Isn't the guy from stereophonics called Kelly?

But yes - Kerry and Kelly are mostly girls names. Jesse is a good name (I like it, I had an ex called Jesse ) but fear he would get the piss taken in the playground.

sorry... honest opinion

runnybottom · 28/02/2010 22:14

If you go with Kerry or Kelly start saving for the therapy bills now. And start practising for the conversation you'll have 10 times a day " his name's Kerry....yes a boy....no its a boys name too...yes I'm sure....yes it is unusual...etc etc"

Jesse. Great name. Almost as good as Jude.

Maria2007loveshersleep · 28/02/2010 22:16

Pure, why would he be getting the piss in the playground for Jesse? Don't see what's piss-worthy about it?

PureAsTheColdDrivenSnow · 28/02/2010 22:22

no need for the (gah.. ffs)

Jessie is another word for wuss. (or have I been watching too much Neighbours and H&A)

like I said at you now.. I LIKE the name Jesse.

Maria2007loveshersleep · 28/02/2010 22:25

Aaaaaahhhh I see

Maybe I should have put in instead of !

I like the name Jesse too!

lowrib · 28/02/2010 22:52

I know a man in his 50s called Kelly.

I'd go for Jesse though.

Casmama · 28/02/2010 23:55

I like Jesse too but is there some reason that you have chosen three names that are quite feminine sounding?

Clary · 01/03/2010 00:08

OK well I was going to post that Jesse is a boy's name...but then I see you are having a boy

Kelly and Kerry will be thought of by most as girls' names so Jesse is the best of those three IMO.

Kyrie · 01/03/2010 10:34

Personally I really don't see Kelly as a girl's name. If I was going to meet a Kelly for the first time I wouldn't assume they would be female same as if I met an Ashley.

Kerry I probably would have until I met a male Kerry and Jesse I would think was going to be a boy.

CantSleepWontSleep · 01/03/2010 10:37

Jesse. Don't like the others for a boy, but love Jesse.

lifeas3plus1 · 01/03/2010 12:09

I know an Irish lad called Kerry. He was really sweet.

Never met a boy called Kelly but I still do think of it as a boy's name.

They are all really nice name's but I really love Jesse.

doubleexpresso · 01/03/2010 13:01

With these name choices people may think you wish you were having a girl...

diddl · 01/03/2010 13:48

Jesse-the others are girls names imo.

ObsidianBlackbirdMcNight · 01/03/2010 13:50

NOT Kelly or Kerry. Too feminine. Jesse is nice.
