to boring for words or timelessly beautiful? Would it be sooo terrible if i spelt it Alys?

Its okay as a name, but just okay. I do think of someone who is a bit thick/simple/not quite with it though when I hear the name. I think that is just the portrayals on TV (Emmerdale, Vicar of Dibley, Casualty). That has somewhat ruined the name for me.

Really like both. Alys is the Welsh spelling so might be a bit odd if no Welsh connection?
