Reuben if a boy
Roseanna if a girl (not sure if I should use the 'e' or not) Rosa for short.

We already have an Eva.

Rosanna is lovely, Reuben is fine.

Thanks belgo, you're the only one speaking to me this morning

ilovesprouts · 27/02/2010 11:02

like ruben, not keen on rosanna !!

LaDiDaDi · 27/02/2010 11:03

Agree with bego, like them both but prefer Rosanna to Reuben.

thisisyesterday · 27/02/2010 11:04

Rueben getting really popular these days

Roseanna is ok, reminds me of Roseanne though

Bucharest · 27/02/2010 11:05

Like Reuben.
Rosanna a bit old lady. (without the chic)

menomena · 27/02/2010 17:17

I like both (really like Reuben!) but definitely pefer Rosanna without the E. Also what about Rosalie?

BubblesomeBella · 27/02/2010 17:43

I can't have Rosalie because of our surname. I really want Rosa but can't because of surname so have comprimised with Rosanna shortened to Rosa. Am aware that what Bucharest says (old fashioned wthout being chic) will be a lot of peoples opinon though.

There's Rosina? I like Rosanna without the 'e', but I think I prefer Rosina. I think Reuben is a great name.

zozzle · 27/02/2010 18:43

Both lovely

ShirleyAmbrose · 27/02/2010 18:44

Both great names.

Roseanna is divine and lovely with Eva.

BubblesomeBella · 28/02/2010 12:14

Thanks shirley

I think Reuben is very nice

I like Rosanna, but not with Eva. But that's a personal thing. I don't like similar names for siblings - starting with the same letter, having a rhyming sound, having the same ending, having a 'theme', that sort of thing.

pointysayhiphip · 28/02/2010 12:30

I'm a bit like heqet with teh similarities thing.

Rosa and Rose are far far nicer than Roseanna.

Reuben is ok, not my cup of tea.

I quite like Robin these days and prefer it to Reuben.

RHL · 05/03/2010 09:42

Rosalia? Pretty and different

Like Roseanna, not so keen on Reuben but only because my friend's nan's dog is called Reuben!!

AllieW · 05/03/2010 19:29

Love them both!

tiredfeet · 05/03/2010 19:39

Not a big fan of Reuben but I think that could be because there was a really annoying Reuben at uni, so feel free to ignore me!

I do like Roseanna/ Rosanna, I was vaguely thinking of Rosalie if I have a girl, but think your choice is equally as pretty, and unusual without being silly

RubiMama · 05/03/2010 19:43

Great names! I am biased because I have a Ruben already and Eva and Rosa are on the shortlist fo DC2.

dizzydixies · 05/03/2010 20:24

love reuben

not coonvinced about Rosanna with Eva but it might be a grower

Ellokitty · 06/03/2010 17:11

I like Rosa, but do not like Rosanna. Sorry, I just think it is a bit ugly as a name. However, Rosa is actually quite nice and sounds pretty without being too girlie or young. I'd say just go for Rosa.

Ellokitty · 06/03/2010 17:12

Don't know where my bit about liking Ruben went ?

Heated · 06/03/2010 17:32

Do not like Reuben.

I like Rosalind & adore Robyn. Roseann/a is pretty.
