Middle name to go with Elin? Preferably Welsh...

Elin is our current favourite for baby number 3 - scan has confirmed it's a girl.

We already have a Cerys Mali.

I'm stuck for inspiration for a middle name...I love welsh names, this will be our first summer baby so something summery maybe (I don't like the name Haf though unfortunately!). My mum is a Cathryn, called Kate by her mum, so I was thinking of Elin Kate. Does anyone have any other suggestions?

Thanks!

Dylis I love Dylis

Elin Kate is lovely too though

I also love Arwyn but I don't think it goes with Elin

Alys?

MrsGravy · 18/02/2010 20:28

Thanks girls. I agree with Arwyn - nice name but too many 'ins' when coupled with Elin!

Alys is lovely but it's already my sister's and niece's middle name so it feels like it's been 'done' in our family.

I never knew Cadi was a welsh form of Kate - I really like that name, thanks different ID.

Thanks Lionstar and tomme too, I wouldn't have thought of Gwen, but that sounds lovely, so does Ffion.

Dizzydixies, I am politely and steadfastly skirting around the name Dylis
