Is it a bit wishy-washy sounding?

Would you not consider Leila, pronounced Lay La?

(Although everyone would be going 'got me on my knees' for the rest of the poor girl's life...)

I would think that Lila or Liela was pronounced Leela
and Leila is Lay-la

So from a pronunciation point of view I think Lyla is the best, if that is how you are planning on saying it.
