Im having twins and have a few ideas for names already. What do you think

Harrison and madison (B/G)
Harrison and Leo (B/B)
Harrison and sebastian (B/B)
Harrison and Lucas (B/B)

Have no idea at all for G/G names though lol

Harrison and madison (B/G) no too rhymey
Harrison and Leo (B/B) like it
Harrison and sebastian (B/B) too rhymey for me
Harrison and Lucas (B/B) like this too

Mind you, maybe you like rhymey combos...

Harrison and Madison sound too similar (I don't like either really - too American).

Not keen on Leo - Leo the lion

Sebastian and Lucas are ok.

DrivenToDistraction · 16/02/2010 16:32

oops, somehow missed that you are having twins! Sorry

I like all the names except and Harrison Madison. Am a little dubious about Sebastian but like the nn Seb.

harrison will just be on the BC and will be called harry. Felt it was better to give a full name instead of shortened iykwim

I like Harrison with all the others but not with Madison (or anything else with a 'son' at the end or 'Harri' at the beginning).

All the names you've suggested are fairly popular at the moment (not that that's a bad thing!) so I'd probably go for girls' names that are similarly mainstream e.g. Olivia, Emily, Poppy, Kate, Isabel, Imogen.

If you like the idea of a B/G combination being Harry and Maddy for short you could go for Madeleine instead of Madison?

DrivenToDistraction · 16/02/2010 16:35

Ah, ok! I always though Harry was a nn for Henry!

I have to say i love the name olivia but there is now a cartoon about olivia the pig feel it would almost be the same as naming baby peppa lol

Olivia the pig has been around for ages so I wouldn't worry about that too much. Your DD isn't going to be known as Olivia the pig!

Harrison and Olivia go well together as do Harry and Livvy (or Harry and Ollie which could also be used for a boy - Oliver).

Max and Harry are a fab combo.

starshaker · 16/02/2010 16:56
