What do you think of Dixie as a girl's name? It's listed on Mumsnet's Baby Name Finder.

Hmm. To me it's not really a name. Plus it has a lot of baggage in the US.

It's my sister's middle name. Really suits her, I like it as a second name. Not so much as a first

There's a little girl at Ds's groups called Dixie. She is just beautiful. It really suits her.

Awful. Too twee and it sounds more like a dog's name.

I met a teenage Dixie last week and it actually really suited her.

Also, not sure if I'd like to have the sound "dick" in my name... especially growing up.

I would wonder whether the sibling was called Pixie ...
