We have a Theo and a Tilly, but have moved away from having Rufus and potentially a Rory because we thought it was a bit OTT. I don't think with two of them it matters though!

doodlexyz · 05/02/2010 16:15

I like Monty and Oscar best Although all on your list are good!

Hope everything is going well

tulip27 · 05/02/2010 16:20

Can't believe you are asking this whilst in labour, you are obviously great at multi tasking. I think if you can't decide out of those names then mabye the correct name is not in your list. Shall we open this up as a top 3 boys names thread to give you some more ideas and just pray you are having a girl

jellybeans · 05/02/2010 17:14

Oscar

tryingtobemarypoppins2 · 05/02/2010 18:55

Don't go now, keep posting until he/ she's arrived and you've chosen the name .

Jamieandhismagictorch · 05/02/2010 20:20

Ooooh - I love this - so exciting. Last time this happened I stayed up for hours ...

like Henry best.

Sorry, don't like Monty or Jonty

Someone told me their baby son is called Sidney the other day. Don't want to take advantage in your vulnerable state, but ........

Jamieandhismagictorch · 05/02/2010 20:21

Good luck

Jamieandhismagictorch · 05/02/2010 20:23

tulip - I had about 3 options when in labour with DS2. We didn't decide until we'd taken a good look at him. Then it became obvious ...

StrictlyKatty · 05/02/2010 21:37

Not Henry if you have a regal surname. Will sound a bit OTT.

I like Jonty

Jamieandhismagictorch · 06/02/2010 08:54

how are you, tryingtobe ? - hope all's well

tryingtobemarypoppins2 · 06/02/2010 22:11

Hi Jamieandhismagictorch! Still here and still in pain!

I assume I am still 3-4cm dilated, you can't go backwards can you? I have been having sharp, sudden pains all day, the sort that shock you enough to scream! They only last a few seconds. Had a bloody show this morning also. Baby very active!

DH can't believe I don't know whats going on!! We still can't agree a name either!!

Jonty. Came very close to using it for DS1.

tryingtobemarypoppins2 · 06/02/2010 22:32

cece what did you name him instead?

LaDiDaDi · 06/02/2010 22:35

I don't like Jonty but like all of the others.

cece · 06/02/2010 22:50

Jonny We've never met another one yet!

Jamieandhismagictorch · 07/02/2010 10:12

Tryingtobe - Oh, I hope the baby's here by now .......

cece · 07/02/2010 10:36

Oh it's gone quiet, let's hope the bundle of joy has arrived.

tryingtobemarypoppins2 · 07/02/2010 11:23

No I'm still here Still having pains every 5mins lasting a min, I assume I am still 3-4cm, and can't go back???!!

DH workwise and childcare wise......I really could do with having this baby today! Can't get over how different this pregnancy has been!

My cat is called archie otherwise it would be the top of my boy name list.

Tyson86 · 07/02/2010 11:34

1 Archie
2 Oscar
Good luck and congrats

cece · 07/02/2010 13:16

Wolfblass · 07/02/2010 14:15

Henry (my sons middle name!)

Jamieandhismagictorch · 08/02/2010 14:48

Any news ?

tryingtobemarypoppins2 · 08/02/2010 21:16

I am STILL here! Contractions still every 5 mins but just not lasting. Electric shocks in my cervix too are just LOVELY! NOT!!!

I think this is a sign I won't cope with 2, therefore its not coming out!!
