How would you pronounce it? I'm never sure if it's Corin or Coreen. I have no feelings either way really. It's OK but I don't love it. It looks quite pretty though.

mathanxiety · 04/02/2010 23:06

I would pronounce it cor-IN or cor-EEN. I think it's lovely.

midnightexpress · 04/02/2010 23:07

I had a French penfriend when I was little called Corinne (co-REEN) and I thought it was impossibly glamourous and exoctic. I still quite like it.

bibbitybobbityhat · 04/02/2010 23:07

Yes, I like it. Unusual but not fabricated!

SE13Mummy · 04/02/2010 23:22

I know a Corinne who has a twin called Corinna...!

LetThereBeRock · 05/02/2010 00:05

I like it.

lowrib · 05/02/2010 00:38

I love it.

ShinyAndNew · 05/02/2010 00:40

I like. I'd pronounce Cor-een, but like both ways.

shubiedoo · 05/02/2010 02:21

Very pretty. I like Corinna too.

ClaireyFairy82 · 05/02/2010 08:13

My sister is Corinne Faye. I think it becoming a lot more popular. It was really rare when my sister was born and it's pronounced Corin. She's always liked her name but hates people trying to shorten it.

Blanchet · 05/02/2010 09:53

Never sure how you say it. I would have guessed "Co-RINN" or "CO-rinn" , but never would have guessed with an "een" ending.

theagedparent · 05/02/2010 10:06

Really lovely.

Disenchanted3 · 05/02/2010 10:08

i would have considered it but its my mums best friends name

jellybeans · 05/02/2010 22:20

I like it.

dizzydixies · 06/02/2010 09:09

I love Corinna, both the name and the song - I like it better than Corinne

CherylsLeftCashley · 06/02/2010 10:21

I like the 'Corin' pronunciation. It's pretty.

Wolfblass · 06/02/2010 10:48

Ooh i actually love it. Not a name i'd ever of thought of tbqh!

Corin or Coreen pronounciation are equally lovely, although i'd sway to Corin

dizzydixies · 06/02/2010 11:27

we had Corin picked for DD1 if she was a boy but I think it works well for both

I have an adult cousin called Corrine (her mother is French). We say it 'Corr-IN'... "Corr-EEN" sounds too much like Colleen to my mind.

Vivia · 08/02/2010 16:14

It's beautiful and it's pronounced Corin. Gorgeous.
