Hello
Thanks - I love Elodie too. Maybe Gabriel - that way there's choice I guess x

Gabe - not sure I like just Gabe, prefer the longer version
Tom - love it!

Elodie - very pretty
Elsie - I believe quite popular at the moment
Frieda - name of my old neighbour who I fell out with so I owuld say no.

passionberry · 29/01/2010 12:35

Gabe - No
Tom - Lovely

Elodie - Love it
Elsie - Love it
Frieda - No

tummytickler · 29/01/2010 12:38

Love Frieda and Tom.

belgo · 29/01/2010 12:40

Prefer Gabriel to Gabe

Elodie, Frieda and Tom are lovely.

CillySunt · 29/01/2010 12:57

none, sorry.

redclover · 29/01/2010 13:22

Arrgh! It's so difficult. I've definitely come to the conclusion that Gabriel is better than Gabe. Have thought of a few more & will update with Hal (trad short for Harold or Harry & is a family name), plus Marni & Albine (there's definitely something about French names).

OP posts:
redclover · 29/01/2010 13:26

Should have said Albine sounds like Alvine - maybe best to spell as Alvine?

OP posts:
belgo · 29/01/2010 15:30

dislike Marni. Even Darcy Bussell changed her name from Marnie.

Albine is awful.

Tom, Elodie and Frieda are lovely

mathanxiety · 29/01/2010 15:44

I love Frieda. For the boys' names, I like Tom (short for Thomas), Gabriel (Gabe as nn) and Hal.
I really dislike Marni, and think the other girls' names pale in comparison to Frieda.

crumpette · 29/01/2010 15:50

My vote's with Elodie and Thomas known as Tom

liliputlady · 29/01/2010 16:10

Same as crumpette!

dizzydixies · 29/01/2010 16:58

Gabriel nn Gabe
Tom is lovely

the girls are fine but not overly enspiring imo

LIFESABREEZE · 08/03/2010 20:29

I think Elodie is the best but I'm biased as my little'uns called that. It's getting more popular now though.

I just love Elodie wanted it for dd3 but dh said it was too close to Eloisa (dd2) then we named her Aoife and the 2 together are just WAY closer to say lol

CelticUnited · 08/03/2010 23:19

Tom, Elodie

JeMeSouviens · 08/03/2010 23:28

Thomas - Tom for nn
Elodie

Elise rather than Elsie

Bucharest · 09/03/2010 08:16

I don't like Elodie unless you have a French connection as it tends to be used by the Luca brigade. Nuff said.

Marnie is lovely, Elise is one of my current favourites. Elsie and Freida are still too Les Dawson for me.

Tom is meh.

Gabe for Gabriel is OK, but I do find it a bit girly.

Galena · 11/03/2010 12:49

Had never heard of Elodie until 3 months ago, now at one baby group I go to there are 2!

MamaLazarou · 11/03/2010 14:07

They are all nice names. But children can be very cruel, are you sure about Gabe?

SmileysPeepul · 11/03/2010 16:55

Tom is lovely.

so is Hal.

How about Gideon instead of Gabriel?

Nt too keen on any of the girls names.
