What do you think of the name Osian?

What do fellow MN think of Osian pronounced Oshan?

Love it. My SIL's DS2 is called it.

It's very very popular here in Wales at the moment which might be a good or a bad thing for you.

Hmm, without having heard it before to look at it makes me think it's Ossian spelt wrongly. How is it pronounced, o-shun like Ocean?

Might take a bit of explaining either way so people don't assume a different take on it.

I do quite like it though it's a bit of a grower.

Only heard of one other person called it from school so he'd be about 24 now! Actually, I think he was from Wales!

I like it - it would be on our shortlist but a friend of mine has just called her little boy Osian.

I really wanted it for DS, but DP vetoed. Love Oshi as a nickname too.
