Hi,

We have not yet decided on any names, and just a few days ago came up wiht those two options:

Maia Imelda
Alina Imelda

(Imelda to be used as a second name in honour of my mum)

Any drawbacks on this names you can think of?????

Thanks a lot!

I like Maia Imelda

loobylu3 · 03/01/2010 20:22

Although Maia is a beautiful name, if doesn't flow well with Imelda at all and nor does Alina (because of the two 'a' sounds).
Do you have any other ideas?

GladioliBuckets · 03/01/2010 20:39

Imelda Maia would be my preference simply for flow.

mathanxiety · 03/01/2010 21:28

Love Alina

MamaLazarou · 04/01/2010 07:54

Imelda's gorgeous. I would have it for the first name, as it's far nicer than the other two.

I don't think how first and middle names 'flow' matters at all, how often in your life do you say both names together? I think both your choices are lovely but I prefer Maia.

Maia Imelda

GladioliBuckets · 04/01/2010 17:13

Yep, TBH it's how the first one flows with your surname that matters more.
