ive changed my mind so many times, i like loads of names but non of them scream PICK ME if you know what i mean. so i have a shortlist but i just feel like there is a name that ive heard before or seen somewhere that i LOVE but i cant think of it.

the ones i have decided i like today in no order are..

Tyler James
Logan James
Alfie James
Zachary James

i like all of these but i just dont know. everyone keeps saying ill know when i see him but i dont feel like i will. i liked lots of named before i was pregnant and thought it would be easy but its really not.

does anyone else feel like this and is it normal to not be overly keen on any names? i want one that is trendy and popular but not too over used if you know what i mean so any suggestions? non of them are really that common where i live to be honest. and what do you think of the ones i have said (please say why if u think one is awful)

please dont be nasty as i already feel terrible that i havent picked a name as evryone else seems to have x

Don't worry - we decided on ds literally the day before he had to register his birth. Apparently you have 12 months to select the name as long as you register - if we had known that, I suspect we would have been dithering for the whole 12 months.

Love Zac.

Good luck for tomorrow - I was induced for my 2 - don't worry about the horror stories, it was fine.

Alfie is lovely.
We picked a name for my youngest dd and we called her that name for about an hour after she was born, then changed our minds. It had been the first choice name all through the pregnancy if we had a girl, but when she was born it just didn't seem to suit her.
Don't panic about picking before you meet him and good luck with the induction, I was induced with number 3 and it wasn't as bad as I had been led to believe.

I don't usually post on names - but - I knew for sure my baby was going to be named one of 2 things (depending on boy or girl).

However when she arrived we both looked at each other and shook our heads and agreed the name wasn't right.

Took us 4 days to find the right name - it was quite embarrassing showing her off with no name BUT - we were glad we waited and chose something to suit her.

Good luck for the birth

dont worry a name will just come to you a week or so after he or she or born. when my ds was born his name was charlie but i never thought it through and realised his name would be charlie chorley. he was then called alexandra for a week then finally when we got to the registry office i decided on jack. you should see his red medical book it has all the different names in it crosed out. am not crazy honest i think am just indicisive

Good luck, remember you have got a lot more time afterwards to choose so just take your time and wait for something to feel right.

Alfie and Zachary are nice.

What about;
Ellis
Hayden
Nathanial
Cian
Sean
Ciaron
Euan
Louis
Rhys

Hayden James has a nice ring to it!

James is the nicest. imo. Why not as a first name?
