Bodhi is fab. Liam is ok too....don't like any of the others....Eden is a girls name non?

bellissima · 21/12/2009 14:40

I also thought that Eden was a girl's name.

Like Bertie (but not so keen on Albert). Like Jake and Finn and Zac, but like Bertie I tend to think of them as nns for Jacob, Fintan and Zachary. Not keen on Liam or Bodhi or Carson (surname),

AnathemaDevice · 21/12/2009 16:54

Liam and Finn. I wanted Liam for DS but it didn't work with our surname.
Good luck!

meggymegmegs · 21/12/2009 16:57

Bertie, Jake or Finn for me.

Tortington · 21/12/2009 17:00

Liam - no
Zac - effron every 16 pregnant girl will pick that
Finn - loads of finns
Jake - meh
Eden - what now? are you a roaring hippy?
Carson - are you american - this is appaulling
Bohdi (Bow-dee) - only if you live in brighton
Bertie - its like a parrotts name or something.

mathanxiety · 21/12/2009 18:17

Liam and Finn. None of the others, especially Bohdi.

picklemum · 21/12/2009 18:51

I like Eden for a boy actually but tbh if I saw it listed may assume it was a girl.

and Bertie are my 2 best ones.

Bohdi sounds too much like Brodie or how ever you spell it, the american boys name. Broadie ??

TipsyFairydifferentID · 21/12/2009 18:57

Liam or Jake

warthog · 21/12/2009 18:59

finn
liam

hellsbelles · 21/12/2009 19:00

Zac is a lovely name.

achristmasbaby · 21/12/2009 23:26

Thanks so far guys

Zac and Finn got the most votes and these are my faves

I've wiped Bohdi/Bodhi off and Carson as it got zero votes!!

I think it will be between Zac & Finn (although I do love Bertie too hmmm)

Bertie is gorgous and is my favourite by a long shot. It sounds so cute.

There are so many names that you could give to your son so as to nick name him Bertie:
Albert
Robert
Hubert (not so keen on this)
Bertrum
Herbert

Well maybe only Robert or Albert!!

hobbgoblin · 22/12/2009 01:40

Bertie for me. The Bertie's I know are lovely (one aged 3 and one aged about 33!)

My DC are Maxim, Felix...just to give you an idea of my baby naming 'character'!

Hulababy · 22/12/2009 09:18

Liam - not keen
Zac - Efron??? OK, but prefer it as a nn with Zachary or Zachariah as full name
Finn - again nice as nn, but prefer full names so prefer Finlay/Finley etc.
Jake - not so keen on Jake, but really like Jacob
Eden - not for me
Carson - not for me
Bohdi (Bow-dee) - not for me
Bertie - I quite like, but again as a NN. For me would have to be Albert. I also love the nn Albie.

SlartyBartFast · 22/12/2009 09:20

not finlay or zachary?

SlartyBartFast · 22/12/2009 09:21

i also prefer full names.

achristmasbaby · 22/12/2009 11:13

Thanks, I do like Fintan actually or Finneus. Zachariah would be considered too.

Thanks for the suggestion of Felix but it's my nephews name!

What do you think of Alf and Harper??

OP posts:
Avendesora · 22/12/2009 17:59

Bertram and William

Avendesora · 22/12/2009 18:00

Harper is a girls name around here,

juneybean · 22/12/2009 18:00

Liam or Finn

ILoveGregoryHouse · 22/12/2009 18:03

Full names. Finlay and Zachary.

katnkittens · 22/12/2009 20:24

Zac(h)
Finn

Not keen on the others but those 2 are lovely.

JingleBellsBatmanSmells · 22/12/2009 22:49

Finn and Bertie (as a nn)

mrsantique · 22/12/2009 23:02

Finn & Bertie here too

jellybeans · 23/12/2009 11:45

Alf and Harper are not my cup of tea. I like Zac and Jake. I prefer short names and if you look at the stats so do many people. Alfie and Archie far far more popular than the longer forms. Depends if you would use it really. I think all the spellings of Zac/Zack/Zak/Zach are more popular than Zachary too. Not sure on Jake but it is pretty popular. DH and I have long names and have always been called the short form except by teachers and doctors and, in DH case, his mum, he hates it!! Saying that, I do like Jacob and zachary though too.
