Lucas - judge my choice!

Hi, I did think that we had chosen Lucas but i'm having 2nd thoughts as a friend branded it as chavtastic.

Also i'm worried thst it might get popular due to eastenders and hollyoaks

It is becoming more popular but I like it

Am guesing the Lucas in Eastenders will be found out and then leave the show so in a couple of years time will be forgotten all about. Don't watch Hollyoak so can't comment.

Lovely and not chavvy at all- it's the old Latin (Roman) form of Luke. I see so many names described as chavvy on here

Nice name, but a bit too popular for my liking. Three of my friends have had baby Lucases this year, so I am getting a bit bored of it!

I really like it but I know 3 under the age of 2 so it is getting popular not that that should bother you if you like it. I know 2 other babies with the same name as my DD and I don't care about it as she's the best because she's mine

If we were having another boy we'd have called him Luca by the way. Almost the same.
