Should i just not use this name?

Hi i have chosen not to consider the name Caiden due to MN, and have now fallen in love with the name Charlie, when i told DH he said it is the name of my MIL's brother who i have never met and MIL and her brother dont speak very much after a family argument.
Am i being selfish to still think of using the name as my dc and i will never meet her brother anyway.
My ds name is Archie, are the names nice together or too similar?

I do like Caiden and when DH realised it was no longer on the list he was abit annoyed i think. I love Jacob but we have a J surname going to be obvious, it rhymes with Giggle
Would it sound stupid?

If you like Caiden why not use it..would you really let strangers on the internet influence your choice?

No i dont normally listen to others, if i did my ds would not be called Archie, my sister slagged his name off. I suppose some things people said made abit of sense in a way, but i will be reconsidering it, thanks

i got a lot of flack on here at 2 my ds2 name ,but hey you go for what you like and dont listen to them !!i think its lovely

My ds's name also got a lot of flack (too 'posh', too 'nerdy' etc), but we absolutely love his name and get such lovely comments on it in real life.

So please go with what you and your dh love!!!
