Girls names that you can shorten to Minnie

I really love the name Minnie or Minna but don't want that to be the actual name as have a ds with an M name and they sound a bit twee together. I can only think of Wilhemina (sp??) but don't really like it - any other suggestions?? Thank you!!

My great auntie Minnie was Philomena. A formidable woman! My grandfather (younger bro) was terrified of her. Suspect the name suffers now as being very Irish but without Celtic credibility. Alas all my Irish forbears are guilty of that.

NB- warning - to certain MNers on the back row anything with min or fan in induces sniggering attacks
