Would you use this name? I know it has strong connotations of Princess Diana and her tragic death, but it does have such a classic elegance about it? I'd love to know your opinions.

Wasn't one of the Mitford sisters Diana? I think it sounds old fashioned 40s/ 50s - in a good way!

I also think of Anne of Green Gables - her best friend was Diana.

And obviously - Diana the huntress.

I like it.

skihorse I agree with you the term 70s is derogatory in this case and incorrect. When I think back to my class at school it was full of Sarah's, Susan's, Rachel's, Alison's, Jennifer's and like I say I know ONE Diana who was born in the 70s.
